An antlered man is partly submerged beneath the waves of a limitless ocean, his mouth obscured within the depths as his black eyes watch intently. Behind him, a crescent moon glows upon the night sky.

The Astral Wanderer
and the Forest of Tears

A tale of blood and elder magic, where the air flays the mind of its memories, and the trees bleed psychotropic venom. A wanderer scours a sentient forest of flesh and delirium for the only thing that he can still remember: his daughter, exiled from time when a devastating cataclysm doomed the world to an eternity of suffering.

The Astral Wanderer and the Forest of Tears is the first book in a series of three, fusing the genres of cosmic horror, dark fantasy, and apocalyptic science fiction with the surreal dread of a twisted fever dream.

A lone figure stands upon an endless desert, their cloak blowing back in the wind. In the sky above, violet clouds swirl chaotically around three crimson stars, their texture so otherworldly that it almost appears organic. Within the highest star, a lone eye gazes intently, while inside the lower two, horrific mouths grin with a sadistic amusement. Betwixt them, the sky rips open into a black void, and within that void, an indistinct shape looms in the distance: a monolithic tower, or a road leading into the abyss.

The Astral Wanderer
and the Sea of Dreams

In the second book of the Astral Wanderer series, the dread Wanderer screams across a sea of cancerous flesh in a craft of unbridled speed and destruction, bound for the heart of the undying forest, and the daughter he forsook in ages past. On his journey, he must contend with incarnations of his terrifying past; pirates who have abandoned their souls to the ceaseless hunger; the whispers of insanity that claw at his mind; and a star-maddened captain hunting him to the eye of creation itself.

A cellular willow stands before a sky of total darkness, a red glow burning upon the horizon. Rooted within an organic hellscape, its tentacular branches waver through the blackness of reality, the color of its form bleeding away as though caught in the wind. Three distant rings of light burn upon the void above, like stars long-since imploded into black holes.

The Sister Verse
and the Throne of Void

In the final book of the Sister Verse, the rogue ascendant and her grieving party must wander the wastes of a dying world, guided only by the promise of a bitter vengeance. The Dreadlands sink into the Glade once more, the allied nations have been rendered defenseless, and hope is revealed as a fleeting illusion. In a land ruled by hatred and despair, the story at last comes to its end.

The Astral Wanderer
and the Glade of Nightmares

In the third and final book of the Astral Wanderer series, the Wanderer breaches the shores of the Glade, following the violence of his lost daughter into the arcane realms of fear and delirium. Devoured empires lay ruined amongst the swarming trees, while eldritch castles rake the horizons of flesh and bone, host to the darkling lords of the thicket – yet all shall feed the blade of the Wanderer. All shall die, until at last he stands before the dread god of the forest, wreathed in the blood of its harrowed children.

Most of this is still done. I haven't forgotten. I am in school now though, so it's very slow-going. 12/30/2023
